Pioneer Communications and Co-Bank have partnered to donate $10,000 to the Grant County Community Foundation (GCCF). Co-Bank matched Pioneer Communications donation of $5,000 through its charitable fund “Co-Bank Sharing Success Program.”
“Pioneer Communications is growing our Grant County Community Foundation fund so that it may sustain itself in the future,” said Catherine Moyer, Chief Executive Officer of Pioneer Communications. “Our goal is to preserve the future of benefit giving in Southwest Kansas.”
The Grant County Community Foundation (GCCF) is a charitable not for profit foundation whose primary purpose is to build permanent endowment funds through service to donors who have charitable interest. The Pioneer Communications funds can be used anywhere within Pioneer Communications’ service territories.
“It is incredible that Pioneer Communications is committed to securing the future of our foundation and our communities,” said Lori Deyoe, GCCF Chairman. “This $10,000 donation will also be matched at 25 percent by the Kansas Health Foundation, with the $2,500 match going directly to the GCCF.”
The Co-Bank Sharing success program is a $3 million charitable fund designed to benefit cooperatives and the charitable groups they support throughout rural America. Pioneer Communications has found Co-Bank’s partnership significant in supporting its communities.
