2010 Leadership Through Learning Program

Open to:  High school Juniors and Seniors all over the US who are served by OPASTCO-member telephone company.  In order to apply for sponsorship by Pioneer Communications, high school Junior applicants must reside and attend school in an area served by Pioneer Communications' telephone service.  A letter of recommendation may be obtained by contacting your local Pioneer Communications office, as noted below.

Award: All expenses paid trip to Washington, D.C., April 11th - 16th, 2010.  Students will meet with other leadership-oriented students from across the nation for a week of learning, touring, and visits with national leaders.

Applications:  Download and print an application.  Printer-friendly application forms (Adobe Acrobat PDF, 550KB) are available at the above link for download, or you may also obtain a copy from your local High School Counselor's office, or the nearest Pioneer Communications customer service location.

Application Deadline:  Closed as of December 11, 2009.

Letter of Recommendation Requests:  All applications to the FRED Leadership Through Learning Program must be accompanied by an official letter of recommendation from an OPASTCO member telephone company.  To request a letter of recommendation, please contact Pioneer Communications at the following address, prior to December 4, 2009:
