Customer Care Specialist
Pioneer Communications has an opening for a fulltime Customer Care Specialist in Lakin, KS. Candidates must have great people skills and be able to handle unpredictable situations with grace and diplomacy. Computer and keyboard skills required with a background in money-handling and customer service preferred. This position responds to all communities in our coverage area to determine what services are available and best suited to the customer’s needs. The position is also responsible for billing questions, payments, and balancing of accounts, working closely with customers to troubleshoot issues and disruptions on phone and internet services as well as take opportunities to educate customers about best uses of the services we offer. Bilingual, English/Spanish, a plus. A high school diploma or equivalent, insurable driving record, preliminary drug screening and background check are all required. Installation and Repair Technician
Pioneer Communications has an opening for a full-time Installation and Repair Technician in Southwest Kansas. Candidates must have good communication skills and enjoy solving service issues along with educating customers on technology. Past experience with telephone, internet and/or cable installation and repair or a background in electrical installation and troubleshooting a plus. Must be able to work independently, accurately, and thoroughly paying attention to details. A valid and insurable driver’s license along with a clean drug screening and background check are all required. Hired candidate should reside in or relocate to the Lakin area to participate in an On Call Rotation.
