Rufus82 doesn’t cut it anymore. You know…your “pet’s name and year you were born” password? If your password is predictable and/or used across multiple sites, it’s time for a reset.

Using your pet’s name makes you an easy target for cyber criminals. They could be easily cracked just by repeatedly plugging in common pet names like Max, Charlie, Luna, or Coco. The same logic applies to family names and birthdays, all easily obtainable from social media.

Hackers are becoming more and more sophisticated when it comes to gaining access to your information. Try choosing three random, unconnected words as a password. Here’s a commonly used example: RedPantsTree.
